With largemouth bass and panfish listed as abundant and muskie
as common, Wilson Lake is a fisherman's dream. Even smallmouth and
walleye are present to entice the avid fisherman!
The Up North Getaway cabin does allow you to "get away".
The cabin is secluded from neighbors on a quiet lake. The
Northwoods style decor and the stone fireplace give you a cozy, comfortable place
to relax when not on the water. Sunsets can be enjoyed from the
deck after you've bagged your limit.
Though small, the kitchen has all you need to cook a great meal. But
don't worry, having a nice kitchen doesn't mean you have to cook all the time.
You are close enough to Mercer that eating out is always an option.
The cabin sleeps six comfortably and eight in a stretch. The
master bedroom has a double bed. The second bedroom has a futon
bunk bed that has a full mattress on the bottom and a twin on top.
There's also a sofa-sleeper with a twin mattress for the sixth
person. The regular and two person sofas will sleep an adult and a
child when necessary.
Don't pass up the opportunity to enjoy a vacation on a great fishing
lake. It is a great choice for peace and quiet.
Pets ok with prior approval.
No rowboat with rental; paddle boat and canoe included.
Closed in the winter.
