The North Lakeland Discovery Center is a non-profit organization forged by a partnership
effort between North Lakeland Elementary School and the communities of Boulder Junction,
Manitowish Waters, Presque Isle and Winchester. Situated in the heart of Northern Wisconsin's
Lakeland area, this multi-functional center's mission is to explore the region's natural, cultural and historical resources through recreation, field experience,
study, discussion and display. The Center will endeavor to maintain and enhance our
Northwoods identity and quality of life by providing a gathering place for both children
and adults, and by promoting a better understanding of the wide range of options for the area's
unique resources.

Trees For Tomorrow is a private, nonprofit natural resource education center which uses a combination of field studies and classroom
presentations to teach conservation values as well as demonstrate the benefits of modern resource management. Special interest workshops for
adults and families are also held throughout the year.

The Northwoods Children’s Museum enriches lives and strengthens families. The Museum
is a dynamic educational facility based on the idea that children learn best by doing, not viewing.
The Museum provides hands-on exhibits and programs that make learning fun. As a community resource,
